It can be helpful to set aside a specific time each day for your mindfulness practice, so you can make it a regular part of your routine. Get comfortable: Sit in a comfortable position, either on the floor or in a chair. You can sit cross-legged, with your hands in your lap, or any other position that feels comfortable for you. Focus on your breath: Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body. If your mind starts to wander, simply bring your focus back to your breath. Observe your thoughts: As you continue to focus on your breath, you may notice thoughts and emotions arising. Instead of getting caught up in them, simply observe them without judgment. Imagine them as clouds passing by in the sky. End with gratitude: When you're ready to end your mindfulness practice, take a few deep breaths and bring your attention back to your body. Take a moment to reflect on what you're grateful for in your life.</image:caption>
